The BCBB replaced the Biometric Consortium Electronic Discussion Group (LISTSERV) on 15 October 2005. With the BCBB, you will go to the web site to see the new messages instead of receiving these through e-mail. The board includes an e-mail notification option that will notify you when postings occur in the forums you have selected.
Like the former system, messages will not be screened beforehand however, they will be periodically monitored to ensure that messages area being posted in the proper forum. Again, like the previous system, all members will have the same privileges to send and receive messages, plus the bulletin board format offers a wide range of other features.
The National Biometric Security Project (NBSP) is managing and hosting the bulletin board. Should you experience any difficulty in the enrollment process or bulletin board utilization, please contact NBSP BCBB support at: webmaster@biometrics.org.
